MASCOOP Completes Initial Rice Delivery Supporting LGU Sanchez Mira Sagip Saka

The Masisit-Dacal Livelihood Multipurpose Cooperative (MASCOOP) is currently completing the preparation of 1,667 sacks of 10-kilogram well-milled rice, marking the initial delivery of a 10,000-sack procurement order from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Sanchez Mira, Cagayan under the Sagip Saka Act program. This milestone demonstrates MASCOOP’s commitment to supplying quality rice while supporting government initiatives that strengthen the local agricultural sector and improve market access for farmers.

The ongoing packing, quality inspection, and logistics coordination reflect the cooperative’s dedication to maintaining high standards in every stage of the delivery process. Through the collective efforts of its officers, members, and staff, MASCOOP continues to ensure that the rice products meet the required quality specifications and are delivered on schedule. The successful completion of this first batch signifies the cooperative’s operational capability to fulfill large-volume procurement commitments.

As MASCOOP proceeds with the remaining deliveries, the cooperative reaffirms its mission of empowering local farmers, promoting sustainable agricultural enterprises, and contributing to food security within the municipality. This partnership with the LGU of Sanchez Mira under the Sagip Saka Act highlights the value of collaboration between government institutions and farmers’ cooperatives in creating inclusive economic opportunities and strengthening the resilience of the local farming community.
