The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office No. 02, through its Field Operations Division – Institutional Development Unit (IDU), conducted an Organizational Assessment and Strengthening Activity with the Masisit-Dacal Livelihood Multipurpose Cooperative (MASCOOP) on August 20, 2025.
This initiative is part of the DA-RFO 02’s continuing commitment to empower farmer cooperatives and associations by enhancing their organizational systems, governance practices, and institutional capacities. Through this activity, the Department aims to foster responsible leadership, enhance cooperative operations, and equip members with the necessary tools to sustain active engagement, strengthen solidarity, and increase productivity.
By fostering shared values and collective responsibility, the program aims to strengthen MASCOOP to perform more effectively as a partner in agricultural development, benefiting not only its members but also the wider farming community it serves.
