The Masisit-Dacal Livelihood Multipurpose Cooperative (MASCOOP) formally turned over Community Development Fund assistance totaling ₱46,000.00 during a simple yet meaningful ceremony held in Pudtol, Apayao. The fund was equally allocated between two beneficiaries, with ₱23,000.00 awarded to the Municipality of Pudtol and ₱23,000.00 granted to Malekkeg Elementary School, reflecting the cooperative’s continuing commitment to community development and social responsibility.
The turnover ceremony was attended by Pudtol Municipal Mayor Edmar Pascua, Malekkeg Elementary School Principal Evelyn Labbao, MASCOOP officers, and cooperative members. During the event, special recognition was given to Ms. Sharon Rose B. Ganotice, Branch Head of MASCOOP Abulug Branch, for her dedication and leadership in spearheading the Community Development Fund (CDF) initiative. Her efforts in coordinating and facilitating the program played a significant role in bringing the cooperative’s community development assistance to the Municipality of Pudtol and Malekkeg Elementary School, further strengthening MASCOOP’s commitment to serving its partner communities.
MASCOOP emphasized that the assistance forms part of its ongoing Community Development Program, which aims to uplift communities through strategic investments in local governance, education, and social development. By extending support to both the local government and the education sector, the cooperative continues to strengthen its role as a proactive partner in grassroots development, fostering inclusive growth and improving the quality of life of the communities it serves.
